Ms. Charnetha Renee' Kimbrough, 43, affectionately known as Charlie, departed March 6, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Winston-Salem, NC born on June 17, 1973. Charlie lived in Winston-Salem her entire life. She graduated from Parkland High School in 1991 and cum laude from Winston-Salem State University in 1996 where she earned her degree in Accounting. Charlie was employed by Winston-Salem State University as a dining hall attendant.
Charnetha was a special person that you could never forget. She was a lover of crossword puzzles, 70's and 80's TV shows, games shows and most especially music. Charlie started her Saturdays with "Soul Train", and ended them with "Lawrence Welk". Charlie had an unstoppable presence which was evident on her many walks throughout the Southside of Winston-Salem. Her love towards others was as gentle as her spirit was pure. She had an immeasurable love for her family and we will forever love and miss our Charlie.
