Mr. Charles Edward Turner was born March 18, 1946 to the late Eugene and Minnie Turner. He departed this life on August 7, 2014.

Left to celebrate his life are his wife, Ruby McCullough Turner; daughter, Hernetta Turner; four sons, Fred Turner, Charles Surles, Charles Graham, and Lamont Graham; three step-daughters, Selena Withers, Paula Withers Rice (Lynn), and Edith Shepard; two sisters, Alice Ruth Thompson and Brenda Kay Harris; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. W.O. McCullough, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Wednesday at the Chapel.
