Charles R Hall, Jr., 94, of Winston Salem, NC, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on January 5, 2020 at his home. Charles was born to the late Charles and Emma Hall. He was a native of Winston-Salem, NC, all his life, where he attended Atkins High School. He worked for Western Electric for over 30 years, until his retirement and he served as a valued Deacon at Union Baptist Church. He was a kind man, who loved his family and friends, and he loved to dance!

Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Mary D. Hall; and one sister, Mamie Ross.

He is survived by two sons, Steven Hall and Charles A. Hall both of Winston Salem; two grandsons and two granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Friday, January 10, 2020 at Union Baptist Church, 1200 N. Trade St. W-S, NC with Bishop Sir Walter Mack, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Friday at the Church.

The family is forever grateful for Mary Jefferies, Elizabeth Patterson, Sherina Snipes and his Hospice nurses for their loyal and loving care.
