Mr. Charles Henry Boston, Sr. was born January 24, 1948 in Columbia, SC to Lucinda Barnwell. He departed this earthly life on June 14, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Charles was employed at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in the Surgery Research Department for over 12 years. He loved fishing and sports.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his wife, Eliza Regina Boston.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Angela Boston, Charles H. Boston, Jr., and Christopher Boston; grandchildren, Reginald Boston, Ashley Boston, Imani Boston, and DeAndre Boston; great-grandchildren, Malaya Booe and Isabella Boston; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Monday at the Chapel.
