"I've Gone Home"

Wipe away your tears of grief,
For I have gone home.
I've left this world of toil and pain,
Never more to roam.
Don't cry, weep, shed your tears,
For I have lived a long and blessed life.
Loving all and touching all around,
I've struggled through the
Misfortunes and strife
But now I'm on my way to my Father's house,
Where there is no more suffering or pain
But I will remember and wait to see all of you,
When in Heaven we will all meet again.

Funeral services for Ms. Charlene Russell Brown will be conducted at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Prince Rivers officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the church. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
