Chanissa Renee Speaks, aka "Chi Chi", 33, was born January 9, 1982, in W-S, NC. She departed this life February 12, 2015 at her residence.

Chanissa touched many lives with her beautiful voice and her love for music.

Chanissa leaves to cherish her loving memories, her son, Timothy Deshawn Smith, Jr.; her parents, Michael and Robin Speaks; one sister, Felicia Davis (Chris); one sister-in-law, Lea Brown Siddle; nephew, Ethan Davis; two nieces, Aaliyah and Amilia Siddle; two step-nieces, Khalia and Kaamilya Fareed all of W-S, NC; special cousin, JaVon Siddle of Kernersville, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Chruch, 4129 Northampton Dr. W-S, NC with Rev. Dr. Nathan Scovents officiating. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Thursday at the Church.
