Chana Patrice Mobley, 45, transitioned this earthly life on Thursday, September 10, 2015. She was born October 23, 1969 to Patricia Caldwell and Richard "Tony" Love.

Chana was well known for her hair styling abilities and hair of many colors. She owned and operated Hair by Chana until her health declined. She graduated from Mt. Tabor High School. She also attended Hampton University.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son who was the love of her life, Kenneth "Dooda" Jeter, Jr.; mother, Patricia Caldwell; father, Tony Love; sisters, Jasmine Perkins, Toni Love, Arnita Love, and Tomorrow Simon; her brother, Antione Sims; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mamie Caldwell; two special nieces, Treyanna Green and JayChana Perkins Green; a special friend, Kenneth Jeter; and a host of aunts and cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Friendship Baptist Church, 1317 North Cherry Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27105 with Bishop Theodore R. Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00noon on Wednesday at the Church.

The family would like to thank Piedmont Dialysis Center, Dr. Denise Laurenti and Staff at Nephrology Associates, Dr. Phillip Moore, Novant Health Vascular Specialists, and Novant Hospital Eight Floor Renal and Palliative Care for their Care of Chana during her illness.
