Mr. Chad Raynard Shore passed away unexpectedly at his home in Winston-Salem, NC on Monday, June 29, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Derrick Shore; and both his maternal and paternal grandparents, Allen and Betty Pinkney and Pride and Carrie Shore.

He was born to Chlories Pinkney Shore and Thomas N. Shore in Winston-Salem, NC on July 10, 1975.

He attended the public schools of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County. He began his early Christian education at Mount Zion Baptist Church where he joined and was baptized under the pastorate of Dr. Serenus T. Churn, Sr.

He married his soulmate, Tarsha, on December 30, 2000 and to that union was born his "baby girl," Briana. He loved the Lord, his family and friends. He liked to work out, cook and enjoyed fellowship with his friends.

Chad's varied employment history included work as a long-distance truck driver for C.R. England Trucking, Terrance Heyward Trucking Company and at the time of his passing he was employed as a local driver for Kaplan's in Clemmons, North Carolina.

Those family members who survive and who will forever cherish loving memories of him include his wife, Tarsha Shore; daughter, Briana Shore; son, Javion Shore; his parents; stepmother, Gloria Shore; sister, Crystal Warren; an aunt, Roberta (Nathan) Wilkins; three uncles, Kermit (Norene) Pinkney, Sr., Allen (Sharon) Pinkney, and Pride (Willaseaina) Shore; mother-in-law, Margie Pitts; three sisters-in-law, Phyllis (Charles) Smith, Renee McDonald, and Margie McDonald; several nieces and nephews; a large number of cousins including the very special Sante' Turner and Rodney Springs, whom he looked up to like a brother; and many extended family members and friends.

Private funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 2020. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
