Mr. Cedric Kinard McCullough, Jr., known to friends as "Ceddy Bear", went home to be with the Lord and join his mother for everlasting life on July 7, 2011 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham County, NC.
Cedric was born November 23, 1991 to Cedric McCullough, Sr. and Melissa Carroll-McCullough.
Cedric was a graduate of Parkland High School C/O 2010. He was attending The University of Phoenix online majoring in Criminal Justice. Cedric loved to serve the Lord, he attended Rock Hill Baptist Church at an early age and later became a member at Piney Grove Baptist Church. It didn't matter where Cedric was at, he would always say "His praises shall continuously be in my mouth." Cedric was a dear friend to ALL, he never met a stranger everyone was a "BUDDY". Whether he had good days or bad days, Ceddy kept a smile on his face.
Cedric was preceded in death by his mother; and his grandfather, Tyrone L. Carroll.
He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Cedric McCullough, Sr. (his friend, Charlene Martin); his granny, Racheal Carroll of the home; great-grandparents, Ira and Virginia McCullough; two aunts, Michelle (Howard) Jones and Robin Carroll of Winston-Salem, NC; two uncles, Ronald (Tracey) Carroll, Sr. of Midway, NC and John Carroll of Winston-Salem, NC; cousins, Ronald Carroll, Jr. Tryronda Carroll, and Darryl Smith, III "Trey" all of Midway, NC, John Carroll, Jr. and Makayla Williams both of the home, and Tyron Carroll of Winston-Salem, NC; a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, extended cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, July 16, 2011 at First Waughtown Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Walnut Cove, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
