Obituary
Cedell Clifton Lyles, Jr., 70, born May 14, 1941 to the late Cedell Sr. and Lula Mae Lyles of W-S, NC, departed this earthly life on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at his home, 6645 El Rancho Drive, Rural Hall, NC.
Cedell grew up as a lifelong resident of Winston-Salem and attended the Winston-Salem Public Schools. He was an employee of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company for 31+ years in the Building and Grounds Department until his retirement from the company. He started CC Lyles Lawn Care Service and acquired an abundance of clients, most of whom became friends.
Cedell was a devoted member of Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Cedell Sr. and Lula Mae; and two brothers, Nathaniel and David.
To cherish his memory are his wife, Ada; two sons; four grandsons; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 2pm Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1225 North Cleveland Ave. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2pm on Thursday at the Church.
