Cecil Marie Parson peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 18, 2021. "Marie", as many knew her, was born October 25, 1939 to Colon Lewis and the late Lenora Harris.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Parson.

Marie bequeaths fond memories and hearts full of gratitude to her children, Robert (Katrina) Doby, III, Margrette (Raeford) Butler, Sandra (James) Baxter, Jennifer (Terry) Gray, Jeannine (Weldon) Harris, Beverly (Blake) Bozeman, Carl (Shannon) Harris, and Steven Smith; her legacy continues through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; Marie is survived by her sisters, Shirley (Samuel) Oduro and Glory Butiko; brothers, Andrew Roseboro, Paul Roseboro, and Thomas Roseboro; as well as a large host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

There will be no public viewing. A Celebration of Life will occur at a future date when it is more prudent to gather. Condolences may be sent to the family at 4808 Archdale Rd, Trinity, NC, 27370.
