Mrs. Carrie W. Parker, 98, departed this life on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 after an extended illness.
She was a member of Hanes Memorial CME Church; a devoted wife; and the loving mother of Marie Barnes, Janice Benjamin, and Vincent Parker; caring grandmother; dedicated great-grandmother; and an aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.
The homegoing celebration for Mrs. Parker will be held at 11am Monday, April 1, 2013 at Hanes Memorial CME Church.Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11am on Monday at the Church.
