Obituary
Evangelist Carolyn Gary Teasley passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Mrs. Teasley was born November 5, 1931 to Lula Gary and Calvin Gary, Sr. in Florence, SC.
She retired from WSSU in 2001.
Mrs. Teasley was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Gary; father, Calvin Gary, Sr.; and her daughter, Carol "Dimples" Gary.
She is survived by her only son, Dwight Gary of W-S, NC; immediate grandchildren, Ronald (Carolyn), Mona, Sabrina, Dwight Gary, Jr., Ronald Lineberger, and several other grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Saturday at the Chapel.
The family will be gathering after her services at 826 Woodcote Street, W-S, NC 27107.
