Miss Carolyn Elaine Spease, 72, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Winston-Salem Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 21, 1946 to Minnie S. Carpenter and Charles Spease. She attended Anderson Senior High School and was a retiree of the Industries for the Blind (IFB).

She was preceded in death by her father; and her sister, Patricia Spease.

She is survived by her loving, devoted mother Minnie S. Carpenter; two loving children, Kichas Adams and Kevin Spease; three grandchildren, Aishah Adams, Mariah Adams and Marcus Adams; one great grandchild, Braelyn Adams; one brother, Rocky Spease all of Winston-Salem, NC; three devoted nieces, Beverly (Wendell) Halsey, Toni (Derrick) Peoples, and Kimberly Banner all of Winston-Salem, NC; four loving nieces, Bridgett (Jeffery) Robinson, Rita Millington, Rhonda and Tina Jackson all of Winston-Salem, NC; three nephews, Vincent (Joyce) Daniels, Samuel Cureton, Jr. and Christopher Gray all of Winston-Salem, NC; five loving cousins, Debra Stokes and Pamela Taylor of Winston-Salem, NC, Robert Daniels and Raymond "Butch" Daniels of New York, NY and Shelia (Terry) Lankford of Hyattsville, MD; a host of younger nieces, nephews, and cousins all of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of friends.

Homegoing services will be held at 12:00noon Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Thursday at the Chapel.
