Mrs. Carolyn T. Shouse, 59, of 590 Kinard Drive was born August 7, 1953 in W-S, NC. Carolyn Shouse departed this life on Thursday, August 23, 2012.

Carolyn Shouse was a United States Army Veteran having served 21 Years as an E.7. She was a retired secretary financial and a meticulous seamstress. Carolyn was a member of Calvary Covenant Fellowship Pastor Kelvin E. Shouse High point North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earline Willie Mae Thompson and Willie Woods; and her stepson, Keith L. Shouse.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories her husband, W. Ralph Shouse of the home; two daughters,
Tonya D. McDaniel and Tawanna Foster; one son, Charles Foster Jr.(Dakiesha) all of W-S, NC; five stepchildren; Pastor Kelvin E. Shouse (Cheryl) of High Point, NC, Kimberly Y. Shouse of Kernersville, NC, Kenneth D. Shouse (Keziah) of Charlotte, NC, Duan Little (Dennis), and Juan (Tony) East of W-S, NC; two sisters, China Jimenez of W-S, NC and Diane Thompson of California; one stepdaughter-in-law, Dareen Shouse of High Point, NC; two sisters- in-law, Ann Shelton of W-S, NC and Alice Jones of Hempstead, NY; 28 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at New Light Baptist Church, 1535 E. 15th St. W-S, NC 27105 with Pastor Sam Hickerson officiating and Pastor Kelvin E. Shouse eulogist. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Wednesday at the Church.
