2 Timothy 4:7-8

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.  Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

Carolyn Yvonne King Moore was born in Winston-Salem, NC to George and Estella King on April 8, 1940.

She attended the Winston-Salem/ Forsyth County Schools and was a graduate of Atkins High School. She retired from Tyco after many years of service.

Carolyn was a phenomenal, dedicated, and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

She peacefully departed this life on Sunday, July 4, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Karen Jolly; and her grandson, Tony Crockett.

Left to cherish precious memories are her loving and devoted daughter, Yvonne Moore; loving grandchildren, Renee Harris, Candice Miller, James Jolly, Jr., Nikki Hargrave, Monique Jolly, and DeMario Hargrave; great grandchildren, Nadia, Makayla, Zakhia, Jada, Jay'quan, DeMario, Jr., Khamian, Samari, Keira, Cashari, and Amar; former spouse, James "Jimmy" Moore; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 6:00pm Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held Friday, July 9, 2021.
