Mrs. Carolyn Boston Colclough passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 29, 2021. Carolyn was the youngest daughter of Delores Larry and the late Ralph Gaither.

Carolyn joined and was reared at Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Reynolds High School, Class of 1992. She later earned an associate degree in Medical Billing and Coding from Ultimate Medical Academy. She then earned a baccalaureate degree in Criminal Justice from Strayer University. Carolyn was employed at Liberty Tax.

Carolyn was fun-loving and outgoing. She loved her husband, children and family with all her heart. Her other passion was education and learning, in general. She also enjoyed singing and dancing.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories her devoted mother, Delores Larry; a loving husband, Alonzo Colclough; children, Rasheem, Jayshard, Xareus and Quonshuntaphia Boston and Chairrankitha McCray; stepchildren, Diamond and Shannon McCuththeon; grandson, Amare McCuththeon; sister, Melvina (William) Lockhart; uncle, Johnny McCray; in-laws, Laura and Lee James and Ronnie and Regina Colclough; brothers-in-law, Jonte and Terrence Colclough; best friends, Octiva House, Shamika Farabee; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 6:00pm Friday, April 2, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home. Private services will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021.
