Obituary

Mrs. Caroline Carter Wilson of 2333 Slater Street, Winston-Salem, NC departed this life on Tuesday, June 5, 2007.

She was a native of Barnwell, SC and was a retired employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. She was a member of Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church where she served on the following organizations of the church; Woman's Commission, Young at Hearts Club, Usher Board, Docas Society, Pathfinders, Sabbath School, and Bible Workers. She was also a member of the Slater Park Community Club.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow B. Wilson; her parents, Zadie C. Jones and Ephram Carter; one son, Woodrow B. Wilson, Jr.; and three grandchildren, Dorothy J. Tyler, Mystique M. Wilson, and Jarreau Wilson.

She is survived by two loving sisters, Kathleen Carter and Elouise (Hurbert) Everson; three sons, Aaron (Reahilda) Hunter, Sr., Horace A. (Barbara) Hunter, Sr., and Craig M. (Donna) Wilson; two daughters, JoAnn Stimpson and Rosa (Rochester) Damon; a daughter-in-law, Clara Wilson; grandchildren, Aaron Hunter, Jr., Regina Hunter, Renay Hunter, Corey Wilson , Woodrow B. Wilson, III., Kerry Wilson, Darlene Hall, Rosalyn Hall, Roy (Annette) Hall, Jr., Rodney (Tonjua) Hall, Robert (Angela) Stimpson, Jr., Margaret L. Damon, Rochester (Tarsha) C. Damon, Jr., Donfred L. Damon, Tabitha P. (Kevin) Jones, Tiffanni A. Wilson, Horace A. Wilson, Jr., Demarieo Hairston, Rashard Hairston, and Deven Wilson; twenty-five great-grandchildren; dedicated cousins, Issac Carter and Jacob Carter; one dedicated nephew, Rosevelt Owens; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Sunday, June 10, 2007 from the Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Moses Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 1:30pm on Sunday at the Church
