Candace L. Stuart Robinson was born on August 13, 1974 to the late Calvin Lafayette and Jean Yvonne Stuart. Candace received her education in Welch, West Virginia and graduated from Mount View High School, Class of 1991. She furthered her education and received her Associate's Degree in Computer and Business Management from National Business College, Bluefield, West Virginia.

Candace was baptized, saved, and received the Holy Ghost at an early age, guided under the leadership of Pastor Roger and Prophetess Dana Walton at Rock Hill Baptist Church. She later joined Greater Faith Empowerment Church in Welcome, NC.

Candace met Garfield Robinson in February 1998 and was married to him in September 2001.

Out of this beautiful bond of 20 years, God blessed them with their only son, Ezekiel Marc Robinson whom she called "my stinker, stinker sweet man, or Buddy". Additionally, those left to cherish loving memories are her only daughter, T'Maya Robinson; stepson, Demario Romont Harris; two grandchildren, Demaria Romaya Harris and Demario Harris, Jr; two special aunts, Emma Tapley of Lebannon, Tennessee and Geneva McConnell; special friends, Keshia Carl, DeEdgra Dewitt, Tina Carl, and Rhonda Williams; the entire Huckerberry family; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Neal officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Saturday at the Chapel.
