Reverend Constance C. Anderson of 3751 Barnwell Drive, Winston-Salem, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center. A native of Winston-Salem, Reverend Anderson graduated from Paisley Senior High School and Winston-Salem State University.

She was the Senior Pastor of Shouse Temple CME Church and had retired from the Winston-Salem/ Forsyth County School System after 30 years of service. As a teacher Reverend Anderson had received numerous awards and recognition including twice being selected as "TEACHER of the YEAR" at Atkins Middle School.

Reverend Anderson was preceded in death by her parents William and Elizabeth Croxton and her beloved husband, Robert E. Anderson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving daughter and son-in-law, Kacie and Kevin Stacy, Sr. as well as her precious grandsons, Kevin, Jr., Korbin, and Kaleb Stacy all of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Priscilla (Arthur) Rucks of Kannapolis, NC and Gail Dubose of Winston-Salem, NC; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Anderson Lane and Betty Anderson Dent both of Winston-Salem, NC; one brother-in-law, Jerry (Paula) Anderson of Winston-Salem; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and special friends.

The service celebrating the life of Reverend Anderson will be held at 1pm Friday, November 9, 2007 from the St. John CME Church, 650 Northwest Crawford Place with Reverend Dr. Moses V. Goldmon officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Friday at the Church.
