Bryahn David Faison, Sr. was born the second of four children of John William Faison and Dolores Faison on December 21, 1953 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania .

He attended St. Thomas Moore and Overbrook High Schools . Bryahn was an avid sports fan and was affectionately known as "SI" (sports illustrated) by his friends. He had a tremendous love of music and was an innovative collector.

Bryahn married Diane Hargett and that union produced two children, Etyia Monea and Bryahn, Jr. His precious grandchildren are Camara May, Yazzmine, Liberty and Matthew.

Through his beloved cousin, Calvin Bridges , Bryahn happily came to know our great God, Jehovah who was clearly present in him at the end of his life.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Along with his children and grandchildren, Bryahn will be remembered by his cherished mother, Dolores; his sisters, Valerie F. Bridges and Teresa F. Lewis; brother, John W. Faison, Jr.; his niece, Jacqueline Faison; his nephews, Joseph Faison, Yusef Lewis and Telly Correll; aunts, Viola Bridges and Ruby Godwin; and a host of loving cousins.

And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away. ~Revelation 21:4

A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Russell Funeral Home Chapel.
