Obituary

"God looked down and saw that you were tired and said come home my angel, come home." Brenda Gail Gaither Taylor of 306 Glenview Drive Greensboro, NC 27406 went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born August 18, 1943 to Mack B. and Rosa Lee Gaither in Forsyth County.
Ms. Taylor was a product of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System and graduated from Atkins Sr. High School. She also attended Winston-Salem State University.
She was a dedicated and committed employee of the Internal Revenue Service until her retirement in 2001.
Ms. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Elsworth Taylor; and her brother, Bruce Gaither.
Those left behind to cherish her memories are her brother, Clark (LaVerne) Gaither of Winston-Salem, NC; two sisters, Wanda (Jacob) Gadson of Silver Spring, MD and Veronica Gaither Jones of Pfafftown, NC; sister-in-law, Aldrenia Gaither of Winston-Salem, NC; nieces, Letisha R. Jones, Bridgett (Issac) Pitts, Ryan Gaither, and Lela Gaither all of Winston-Salem, NC, Jasmine Gaither, Jillian Davis and Julia Anna Rose all of Charlotte, NC; nephews, Ronald (Shari) Gaither, Christian and Cameron Davis, Justin and Jonathan Gaither of Charlotte, NC, Irshad and Rashaun Martin of Winston-Salem, NC; cousins, Darryl Ray of Winston-Salem, NC and Annie Bell Hagan of Mooresville, NC; devoted neighbor and friends, Jay and Rachel Palmer of Greensboro, NC; extended family, Faustina Holman, Patricia Emery, and Laura Allen of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Homegoing services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Serenus T. Churn, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, Greensboro, NC. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Wednesday at the Church.
The family would like to especially thank the nursing staff, doctors, and social workers on the 9th and 8th floors and the Palliative Care Unit of Forsyth Medical Center. God Bless each of you. Thank you for your love and caring hearts.
