Brenda Denise Robinson 56, our bright light, the life of the party, loving, junk talking and dearly beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend was called home to glory on Tuesday October 11, 2016. Brenda affectionately known as "Brenda Starr" was born on May 5, 1960 in Winston Salem, NC to Lula Mae Gist Robinson and the late Robert Cornelius Robinson. She was a 1978 graduate of Reynolds High School. Brenda was self-employed for many years as a Hair dresser/hair braider and was also previously employed by Wake Forest University and Courtyard by Marriott. She was the Starr in our family and we thank the most High for the enormous blessing she was in all of our lives and she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Cornelius Robinson; her sister, Dorothy "Dot" Robinson and two brothers Robert Robinson and Darryl Robinson.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her mother Lula M. Robinson; four brothers Reggie Robinson, Ike (Jackie) Robinson, Chuck and Rick Brooks; her nieces Kisha Robinson, Walidah Robinson, Shakiyla Robinson, Sequoia Robinson, Sanieyla Robinson, Swan B, Kela and Monteria "Birdie"; nephews Jamil (Shawn) Robinson, Darnell Robinson and Ike Robinson Jr.; six great nephews her baby Third, Jamil Jr, Jaliel "Doodle" Cameron, Kaleik Robinson, Khalil Cameron, and Aamil Smith and one great niece A'Kiree Robinson; devoted cousins Wanda Biddle and Princess Horn; a very devoted friend Von Mills; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and great friends.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm Friday October 21, 2016 at Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Donald Keaton eulogist. The family visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 1:00pm Friday at the Chapel.
