Mrs. Brenda Ann Mobley Morrison, 70, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, February 14, 2016 after a lengthy battle with Lupus at Wake Forest University Medical Center.  She was born to Otis Mobley and Mary Alice Wardard Mobley on July 17, 1947.  Mrs. Morrison was retired from National Linen as a seamstress.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mr. Earl Morrison; and three sisters, Carrie Ruth Blackwell, Marion Vera Mobley Scales, and Vernell Lewis.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Tarsand Morrison of the home, Evette Morrison of Lexington, NC, and Romanlus Morrison of W-S, NC; two grandchildren, LaTara Littlejohn and Stepheno Morrison; one great- grandson, Liam Morrison; her sister, Prestina (James) Gist; brother Gerald (Francis) Mobley; sister-in-law, Lillie Brooks; brothers-in-law, Bishop Tyrone Scales and Richard Lewis; a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.
