Brenda Marie Granderson, affectionately known as "Mom Dukes", was born January 28, 1945 to Ernestine and Judson Mills.  Mom gained her wings on October 16, 2020.

She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and retired from R.J. Reynolds and Zion Memorial.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Judson "Butch" Mills; her precious daughter, Donee Marie Granderson; and her grandparents, Marie "Momee" and Garland Knox.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Ayana Granderson Lloyd; two grandbabies, Donee' M. Granderson and TaShee' M. Granderson; and a host of other relatives.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Russell Funeral Home. Private services will be held Friday, October 23, 2020.
