Brenda Lavon Davidson-Huff was born August 2, 1948 to Lester Davidson, Jr. and Mary E. Davidson in Winston-Salem, NC. She departed this life peacefully at Trellis Supportive Care on August 9, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones.

Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She graduated from Atkins High School in 1966 and later attended NC A&T State University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration & Accounting. She went on to work many years at Reynolds Health Care and retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving brother, Lester Davidson, III with whom she shared a close bond.

She leaves to cherish her dear memories a husband, James Huff; three children, Jay Davidson (Tonya), Cherie Culp, and Isha Summers; stepchildren, Denesha, Jamian and James, Jr.; 13 grandchildren, Tokecia, Jay, Jr., Kendrick (Marcaela) Darion, Callie, Breonda, Summer, Paige, Ivn, Shakur, Dru, Amir, and Reign; 9 great grandchildren; her remaining siblings, Pam (Stephan), Regina and Wanda; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30pm Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 1:30pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
