Brandon Epperson was born on May 4, 1982 in Forsyth County and departed this life on February 17, 2024 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center after a brief illness.

Brandon attended the local schools and received his diploma from South Park High School.

Brandon enjoyed attending the National Black Theater Festival held in downtown Winston. He met several celebrities who didn't mind posing for pictures with him.

Brandon was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching Wake Forest football and basketball. Brandon lived a full life filled with love and happiness.

Brandon loved his grandparents, John and Marie; his uncle, Shawn; and his great-aunt, Melinda Lash all of whom preceded him in death.

He leaves to mourn his mother, Kim Epperson of the city; two siblings, Kandice Shipman and Keenan Cuthrell, Sr. both of the city; two uncles, Steven Epperson of Butner, NC and Keith Epperson of the city; his very devoted aunt, Susan Epperson who was his caregiver for over two decades who always referred to him as her best friend; he also leaves to mourn his great-aunt, Frances Cloud; two devoted cousins, Sidonna Brown and Carmen Cannon of the city; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Russell Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.  The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
