Bradley Gerard McManus, age 32, departed this earthly life on Monday, January 29, 2024. Bradley was the second-born son of Daniel Gray McManus, Jr. and Lisa Witherspoon McManus. Bradley graduated from Carter G. Woodson High School and was a crew leader for Wilco-Hess/Speedway on the management track.

Born on May 30, 1991, five minutes after his twin brother Brandon, Bradley was always his mother's baby. Completing the family with two daughters and two sons, his mother and father had the perfect even number – thanks to the blessing and prediction of Mother Mary McIlwain who said after the birth of the second daughter (Tierra), "Now you have two girls, all you need is two boys.".

Bradley was preceded in death by, and those waiting to greet him with open arms are: his twin brother, Brandon Geoffrey McManus; grandfather, Lester Eugene Carpenter; grandfather, James William "Butch" Durham; great-grandparents – Willie Lee and Elizabeth Durham, Goler Witherspoon and Agnes Witherspoon, and Mary McIlwain.

Bradley leaves to grieve the loss of his presence and the trustees of his memory: parents - Lisa McManus and Danny McManus; siblings, Talaya (Troy) McManus-Holland, Tierra (Eric) McManus, Rhea Walker, and Damoni Walker; grandparents, Jacqulin Witherspoon, Peggy Carpenter, and Daniel McManus, Sr.; nieces and nephews, Lia McManus-Shabazz, A'Zavior Welch, TJ Holland and Lori McManus-Holland; his surrogate dad, Sam, who loved him as his own; along with too many extended aunts, uncles, and cousins to name, friends and customers from Speedway.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Monday, February 5, 2024 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Monday at the Chapel.
