Bonita Joan Green McLean, 50, died October 19, 2010. She was born September 29, 1960 to Franklin and Barbara Green in Ft. Monroe, Virginia.
Mrs. McLean is survived by her husband of 16 years, Douglas McLean; daughter, Stephanie Kelly; sons, Vincent and Travis Kelly; other relatives and friends.
Mrs. McLean was employed as a Benefits Administrator and Payroll Specialist for Aon Consulting for 15 years. Mrs. McLean fought a courageous battle with cancer for three and a half years. She was spiritually grounded in the Lord Christ Jesus, medically cared for by the outstanding staff at Derrick L. Davis Cancer Center located at Forsyth Medical Center, and during her final days, comforted by the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice home in Winston-Salem, NC.
Mrs. McLean's home church, St. Peter's Church and World Outreach Center will be conducting her Homegoing Services at 12noon Saturday, October 23, 2010. The family visitation and viewing will be held from 11am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
