Obituary

Mr. Bobby Ray Crosby, 61, affectionately known as "Golf Ball", of 1540 Clark Avenue Winston-Salem, NC was born December 3, 1954 to Mr. Henry S. Crosby and Ms. Mary E. Mack Crosby. He departed this life on Saturday, January 30, 2016.

He attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools. He was a retired veteran of the United States Army and retired from the United States Postal Service.
He was a former member of Fellowship Bible Baptist Church of Winston-Salem, NC.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Crosby; and brother, Willie Crosby.

He is survived by his wife and friend, Delma Crosby; one son, Marquise Crosby; four daughters, Mary (Cedric) Roberts, Terri McFadden, Demitrice McFadden, and Trenice McFadden all of the city; his mother, Mary E. Crosby of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie (Willie) Squire and Ms. Julia Moore; three brothers, Elder Stoney (Cynthia) Crosby, Mr. Johnny Crosby, and Mr. George (Carolyn) Crosby; a sister-in-law, Ms. Bonita Crosby; a devoted brother-in-law, Mr. Cliffis (Sophia) Murray; eighteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Saturday at the Chapel.
