Mrs. Bobbie Jean Galloway Jones was born on April 25, 1946 to Harvey and Janie Galloway in Winston-Salem, NC.  She departed this earthly life on October 27, 2022.

Mrs. Jones was employed by K&W Cafeteria for over 20 years and was a former member of Kimberly Park Holiness Church.  She loved to cook, take care of her neighbors, and was a loving person.  The highlight of her life was spending time with her family and grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Jones; and sisters, Charlene Galloway and Maxine Galloway.

Left to cherish her memories are his children, Tomiko (Marvin) Sprinkle and April (Joel) Sprinkle; grandchildren, Miracle Sprinkle and Shaquille Smith; nephew, Tiko Galloway; niece, Yvonne Galloway; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Debra Jeter officiating.  Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Friday at the Chapel.
