Obituary
Mr. Billy Leon Brown of 620 Creekway Dr., known to his family and friends as "BB" or "Brown", slipped away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2014.
Billy was born October 21, 1942 in Martinsville, VA to Katie Brown and Daniel Alcorn.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Audrey Brown; two daughters, Brittany of Atlanta, GA and Melinda (Everette) of Martinsville, VA; five sons, Patrick (Sonya) of Winston Salem, NC, Barry (Lachelle) and Garret, both of Martinsville, VA, Lewis of Las Vegas, NV and Stacey (Sandra) of High Point, NC; two brothers, Daniel Alcorn and Sammy Brown (Glenda); 24 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mack McConnell officiating. The family visitation will be held from 12:00noon until 1:00 pm on Thursday at the Chapel.
