Mrs. Beverly Nance Mitchell, 52, affectionately known to family and friends as "Bay", was born August 3, 1964 in Philadelphia, PA to Mary and Joseph Nance. She was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 24, 2016.

Beverly was employed by Hanes Brand for over 20 years and was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Holy Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Debra Elaine Nance.

"Bay" leaves to cherish her memories her three children, Shemaiah L. Mitchell, Rayana Porya' Mitchell, and Raymond Mitchell, III; one grandson whom she adores, Stephan "Fudge" McMillian, Jr.; two siblings, Joseph Henry Nance, III and Phyllis Lorraine Nance; her husband, Raymond Mitchell, Jr.; nieces, Medina Nance-Gray and Jamika Nance-Garcia; nephews, Antonio Nance and Michael Judge; two devoted friends, Michelle McMillian and Calvin Handy; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Mt. Calvary Holy Church with Bishop Tejado Hanchell officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12:00noon until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
