Obituary

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith." II Timothy 4:7

Minister/Mother Bettye Jean Hash went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 22, 2014. She was born in Lincolnton, NC to the late Mrs. Willie Bost Jackson.

Under the teaching of the late Bishop S.M. Caesar, she learned about the love of Christ. She had a saying, "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything." Minister Hash was a true soldier in the army of the Lord. She lived what she preached and was a true example of a virtuous woman. She was a solid rock built on a firm foundation.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hash; and her son-in-law, Willie W. Mosley, III.

Surviving to cherish her memories are her daughter, Phyllis O. Mosley; son, Johnny E. Owens; grandson, Christian D. Parks; and a host of cousins and many spiritual children and friends.

Homegoing services will be held at 12noon Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Kimberly Park Holiness Church where she was a longtime member. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.

The family would like to extend a special heartfelt "thank you" to Dr. George H. Yacoub and ALL of the nurses and staff of the WFBH Comprehensive Cancer Center.
