Betty Adams Moore was born in Reidsville, NC on October 24, 1952 to the late Cerester Adams and the late Otto Broadnax. She graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. She taught in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System for 30 years.

Betty drew strength from Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

She was a nurturing mother and dedicated elementary school teacher.

Betty was a caring person who genuinely loved her family and friends.  She enjoyed traveling, shopping, charitable giving, and celebrating holidays.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Jeremiah (Michelle) Moore, Jr. of Holly Springs, NC and Michael Moore of High Point, NC; daughters, Michelle Moore and Cherria Moore of Winston Salem, NC; five grandchildren; sister, Sandra Bentley; brother, James Adams; Betty will be missed by family and special friends, Karen Gilliam, Linda Griffin, and Bettina Young; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Tuesday at the Chapel.
