Betty "Lou" Edwards Miller earned her wings to glory on October 26, 2016 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born August 11, 1946 and was a graduate of Carver High School Class of 1964.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julia Bell Campbell and Marion Edwards.

Ms. Miller is survived by her five children, Annette (Cheryl) Miller of Kannapolis, NC, Ivan D. Miller, Jr. of Washington, DC, Tiffany Miller, Antione Miller, and Latonya Miller all of W-S, NC; seven grandchildren, Marcus Miller, Trence Miller, Malik Miller, Aliyah Miller, Shakira Crawford, Kiana Miller, and Curran Taylor; one great-grandchild, Shaniya Howard; a devoted sister, Delois Fielder and brother, Donald Edwards both of W-S, NC; a devoted classmate, best friend, and sister, Linda Davis of W-S, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 12noon Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Saturday at the Chapel.
