Obituary
On Friday, July 27, 2007, Ms. Betty Ann Dunlap Ware departed this world of suffering and entered into everlasting peace. Affectionately known as "Bucket", Betty was known for her delightful personality and her calm nature.
Mrs. Ware was born on October 4, 1939 in Winston-Salem, NC to Ms. Annie Mae Dunlap Barber and Mr. Otis Brown.
She was preceded in death by her father, Otis Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Ms. Annie Mae Dunlap Barber; her husband of 40 years, Freddie Lee Ware of the home; one daughter, Miss Torri Lee Ann Ware; one son, Michael Anthony Dunlap; one grandson, Stephen Garrett Gambill, II; one brother-in-law, Donald Ware (Lois) of Aiken SC and a host of cousins and other family members.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Russell Funeral Home with the Reverend Isaac Carter officiating. Entombment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be from 1:30 until 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
The Dunlap-Ware family would like to give a special thanks to Ms. Ann Singletary, Stephen G. Gambill, I, the Hawthorne Inn, PEC, Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home and the numerous friends and family members who provided care and comfort during Ms. Ware's illness.
