Betina Ann Lewis, 41, made her home journey in Jupiter, Florida on May 25, 2021. She was surrounded by her lovely family.  She was born to Betty Porter Roberson and her stepdad James Roberson.
Betina graduated from Carver High School Class of 1999. She went on to graduate from ECPI University. Soon after, Betina moved to West Palm Beach, Florida. She loved being a teacher, and is well known for being a cheerleading coach for many organizations and schools.
Betina was a member of Saint Stephen Missionary Baptist Church where she sang on the choir before she left Winston-Salem.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Brandy; her uncle, Bobby Porter; her grandmother, Bertha Porter; and stepfather, James Roberson.
She leaves to cherish precious memories her loving mother, Betty Roberson; her loving children, Asia, Nicholus , Jarvis, Courtlynne, Chasiene, and Courynthiene of Palm Beach, Florida;  her devoted sister, Belvia Porter of Charlotte, North Carolina; her half-sister, Ladonya Lewis of Charlotte, North Carolina; stepsiblings, Angelique, Cherial, Debbie, Gail, James Jr., Zaynab, and Michael Roberson of Winston-Salem; one devoted nephew, Courtland Porter; one devoted uncle, Al Porter; a host of aunts ,uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 6:00pm Friday, June 4, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm Saturday, June 5, 2021 at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:30pm on Saturday at the Church.
