Mrs. Bertha Alice Grant, age 86, was born November 17, 1931 as Bertha Alice Johnson in Chester, SC.  On Thursday, July 12, 2018, Bertha departed this life peacefully in her sleep.

Bertha leaves behind her daughter, Kathy L. Grant-McCoy of Alpharetta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm Saturday, July 21, 2018 at First Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Derwin Montgomery officiating. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:30pm on Saturday at the Church.
