Obituary
Mr. Bernard Shelf Polite, 49, was born July 5, 1962 in Winston-Salem, NC to Nathaniel Shelf and Minnie Polite. He passed away March 12, 2012.
Bernard served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Esther M. Polite; daughter, Stephany Wheeler of Goldsboro, NC; son, Jahaad Turner of the home; his mother, Minnie Polite; three brothers, Chris (Shelia) Polite, Delmar Polite, and Marvin King; four sisters, Sandra Polite Parks of Baltimore, MD, Christine Polite, Pam Polite (Edward) Moore, and Delisa Polite; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Monday, March 19, 2012 at First Waughtown Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Monday at the Church.
