Mr. Bernard Charles Ginyard passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center after a period of illness.
He was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina on September 17, 1956.
Mr. Ginyard was a graduate of North Forsyth High School and a former employee of Marriott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lorraine Robinson; and his sister, Inell Gardner.
He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, LaMecca (DeMon) Smith, LaTonya Ginyard-George, and Shaudia Boyd, all of the city; one sister, Cora Sloan; three brothers, Albert Davis of Greensboro, NC, Johnny Davis of the city, and Ronnie (Alyson) Davis of Baltimore, MD; seven grandchildren; one uncle, David L. Thompson of the city; three devoted cousins, Willie Mae (James) Austin, Martha (William) Carpenter of the city, and Leroy (Blondell) Davis of Orangeburg, SC; and a host of family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Parthenia Galloway officiating. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:30pm on Tuesday at the Chapel.
