Obituary
Mr. Berkley Ward Allen, 58, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at his residence unexpectedly.
He was a 1975 graduate of West Forsyth High School and enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. He also was a graduate of Forsyth Technical Community College and was employed as a brake mechanic for numerous years.
He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Chaka Holder and Bridgette Cuthbertson; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Floyd Forrest, Hal Forrest, and John Allen of Spokane, WA; three sisters, Barbara Ellerbee, Melinee (Alfonzo) Lampkin, and Equilla (Johnny X) Williamson; a special and devoted niece, Jasmine Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00pm Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steven Angle officiating. The family visitation will be held from 3:30pm until 4:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
