Mr. Benjamin Franklin Cox was born in Dillon, SC on February 10, 1953 to Ben Cox and Estella Burrell Cox. He passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015.

He received his formal education from the Latta School System and Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. He worked for the City of Winston-Salem for over 20 years as a master cement finisher. Benjamin enjoyed spending time with his family and he loved to barbecue. He also loved to go fishing as often as he could.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his mother, Estella Burrell Cox; father, Ben Cox, Sr.; and his sister, Dorothy Floyd.

Benjamin is survived by his loving wife, Belinda Cox; two children, T-Lynn Borders and Benjamin Borders; and a host of family members and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Eaddy officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Friday at the Chapel.
