Our Beloved Beatrice Denise Rice was born to Margie Rice and the late Alvin Rice on February 17, 1962. She departed this life on May 7, 2018.

"Beedie", as she was called by her loved ones, was a graduate of West Forsyth High School.

She was multi-talented; she could work on cars, beautify buildings, and held the position doing her part keeping patients safe by ensuring a clean environment at Baptist Hospital.  She also held positions at RJ Reynolds as well as In Home Care.

Left behind in sorrow are her daughter, Felicia Rice (Ray); son, June Pfeiffer and his father, June Pfeiffer; her three beautiful grandchildren, Marquesha, Daquan, and Danny; her mother, Margie Rice; her sisters, Antonette Rice and Catherine Rice; brothers, Daryl Rice and Carlos Rice; and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention.

Beedie had a heart that could hold the entire world. She touched everyone she met as well as would take in and care for any child in need; animals and adults too. Not to mention her love of Bingo and games. Her smile lights up the Heavens!

Memorial services will be held at 2:30pm Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend William Kolger officiating.  The family visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 2:30pm on Wednesday at the Chapel.
