Ms. Beatrice S. Leak, 83, was born March 5, 1932 to the union of the late Quincey Caldwell Spurgeon and Beatrice Scales Spurgeon. Ms. Leak went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Brookdale Senior Living-Reynolda Park. She was a loyal member of Phillips Chapel Baptist Church.

To cherish her memories are her daughter Tanya Leak and son, Christopher Leak both of the City; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, JoAnn Spurgeon and brother-in-law, Luther Leak Sr., both of the City; a host of adopted children, nieces and nephews, friends, church family, and special friends, Alice Prince, Bertha Grant and Blondell Harden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12noon Friday, April 3, 2015 at Phillips Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Chad Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 11:50am on Friday at the Church.
