Obituary
Elder Barbara D. Young, 50, took her heavenly flight on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at her residence.
She was born on May 19, 1957 to Willie Ingram and the late Doretha Ingram. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Lawrence Young, five children; Demetrice (Roy) Evans, Liltrice (Carl) Harris, Latonya Cuthbertson, LaShanda Cuthbertson, and William Young, four step-children, thirteen grandchildren, and one grand that preceded her in death, Precious Price. She also leaves to cherish the loving memories of life with her siblings, Bobby Hackett, Diane Braxton, and Catherine Ingram, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Homegoing services will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 2:00pm from Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rufus D. Jefferson officiating. Internment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery . Family visitation will be held from 1:30 pm until 2:00pm on Tuesday at the Chapel.
