Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Jean Cunningham Wilson, 72, of 5755 Shattalon Drive passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, January 26, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Health after a long period of illness. She was the daughter of the late Walter Howard and Diana Cherry.
She attended Atkins High School Class of 1958 and LaMae Beauty College. She was a member of Ministry of Truth of Apostle, Inc.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by one sister, Juanita Farrow of Boston, MA; father of her children, Mr. Boysie Cunningham, Sr.; daughter, Willette (Kelvin) Smith; three sons, Boysie, Jr., Patrick, and Antonio Cunningham; three step-daughters; nine grandchildren; two great-grands; several nieces and nephews; devoted friends, Sandra Johnson, Gradine Ford, Cynthia Carter, Doris Woodruff, and many more relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm Monday, February 4, 2013 at Phillips Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 132 North Glenn Ave. W-S, NC with Pastor Chad Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 12:30pm on Monday at the Church.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Wake Forest Baptist Health Palliative Care Unit.
