Ms. Barbara Elaine Conrad affectionately known as "Pretty Leggs & Ms. Coke Cola" was born on January 30, 1957 to Elizabeth Conrad and Albert Cuthbertson. She was called to eternal rest and peace on April 5, 2024.

Barbara was a graduate of R. J. Reynolds High School. She worked at Wake Forest Baptist Health for many years as a Patient Transporter where she retired. She was a faithful member of Red Bank Baptist Church where she served as a member and on several committees in the church including the Senior Choir, Spiritual Choir, Adult Sunday School Class, Bible Study, Outreach Ministry and Nursing Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her lifelong partner, Floyd Shapeless; brother, Aaron Conrad; three sisters, Mary Conrad, Tjwana Baldwin, and Annetta Samuels; and devoted cousin, Deborah Clyburn.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Laquana (Cedric) Glenn; Goddaughter, Bridgette Cuthbertson; brother, Gregory (Carol) Cuthbertson; five sisters, Adrienne (Allen) Speas, Bonnie Gainey, Loretta and Vera Cuthbertson, and Alice (James) Payton; sister-in-law, Katherine Conrad; three grandsons, Leonard "LJ" Green, Jr., Cedric "CJ" Glenn and Quandric Glenn; two great grandsons, Landen Duncan and Kyree Green; uncle, James (Mary) Peterson of Junction City, Kansas; aunt, Carolyn Williams;  childhood friend, Willowfae Davis; devoted friends, Pam Jones and Reginald Gentry; devoted niece, Tonya (Donnie) Moses of New York; devoted cousin, Janet Clyburn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, April 12, 2024 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Red Bank Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in the Red Bank Baptist Church Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
