Mr. Avell L. Campbell was called home on April 29, 2018.  He was a school bus driver for the WSFCS for 24 years and had also worked for The Winston-Salem Transit Authority.

He leaves behind his wife, Georgianna Campbell; daughters, Cassandra Brown, Stephanie (Travarus) Cullins, and twin daughters, Kelis and Jelias; his mother & stepfather, Melinda & Jerry Majette; stepfather, Haywood Leach; brother, Robert Leach; sister, Beverly Melton; uncle, Lafayette Campbell; brothers-in-law, Charles (Tina) Brown, Micheal (Annette) Brown both of Shoals, NC, Joseph (Rhonda) Brown, Jr. of Houston, TX, and Dee Eldridge of the city; sister-in-law, Tabitha (Ronald) Thomas; father-in-law, Joseph Brown, Sr.; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm Saturday, May 5, 2018 at The Love Church.  Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery.  The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 12:30pm on Saturday at the Church.
