Ashton Dasean Boston was born at 10:01am December 22, 2014. On the morning of March 30, 2021, he was involved in a tragic accident that would lead to his untimely passing on April 1, 2021.
Ashton is survived by his parents, Keyondra Boston, Reginald Goldsmith, and Tomez Williams; Grandparents, Angela Boston (Nene), Charlita Boston (Gigi), Chandra Boston (Auntie), Camesia Goldsmith (Meme), Darlene Jackson, Shawn Johnson, Thomasina Reid and Tyrone Williams; Aunts and Uncles, Eli'jah Boston, Makiali Boston, Treasure Goldsmith, Emonee Culver, and Craig Culver Jr.; Godparents, Olivia Diggs and Devon Campbell; and god sisters, Tristen and Payton. Ashton was a wonderful best friend and little brother to Tomez, II, as well as an amazing, caring, and loving big brother to Serenity, Syn'cere, Kobi, and Cali. Ashton is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him very much.
Ashton was a Kindergarten student at Smith Farm Elementary and a member of the Winston Salem Tiny Indians where he played football for consecutive seasons, #11. He was a special kid with a unique and sweet spirit. He loved video games, being outdoors, eating chicken nuggets, the color blue, and science. Ashton was a child slow to anger and quick to laughter. He had a smile that shined brighter than any star in our universe. His imagination and creativeness knew no boundaries. Even when he was playing alone, you'd think he was playing with many. In Ashton's last moments here with us his only concerns were the welfare of his mother. A true testament to the beautiful soul he was here on Earth. Ashton Boston will be dearly missed by not only his family and friends, but also the many others whose lives he touched. Long live our KING!
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Central Triad Church. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
